Terms & Conditions

The following is the processed followed by the Website or WhatsApp and enables Stores and Drivers to keep safe. They are a guideline only but do offer the opportunity to for calls to be verified.

A valid street address is given for an order to be accepted. To assist in ensuring Driver safety we have a computerized website and phone system that provides the following information regarding customer orders. 

Existing Customers (have called before to order food delivery).

• If a customer has ordered with us before using the same email or phone number, we will have their details stored in our system and we ‘recognise’ them. 

• We confirm the details – same address (or update if different) and if any delivery instructions present ie; house/flat number/street name/area/town name etc.

• Confirm payment method – payment by cash or credit card.  If CASH:  “Do you need any change from our driver?”  

• If customer’s shows up as “Verification Required” then the order will not go through to the store, instead it goes through to the Shift Leaders terminal to check the customer comments and historical complaints.  
• If for any reason the operator feels the order is not genuine they can flag it as “Verification Required” with a note to the Shift Leader to call the customer back. If this happens, the operator will tell the customer “You will be called back to verify this order, if you do not answer your phone then the order will be cancelled”.

• Shift Leader phones the customer to verify and if the phone number is valid and the Shift Leader is confident the order is genuine the order will be sent through to the store. If the phone number doesn’t exist or there is doubt as to the validity of the order then the order is cancelled and the store does not receive it. 

  New Customer (no details display on tills, emails, website or call center systems)

 • No details in the system – further advice and questioning provided:
 • Minimum delivery order needs to be Rs 500.
 • Eftpos not available in all stores 
 • Do you have any delivery instructions for our driver (this is also where a customer  provides a flat or house number, street name, area or town name/post code etc.

 • Do we need to be aware of any dogs on the property?
 • Please keep an outside light on so our driver knows which house to deliver to
 • Please keep your phone with you so we can call you back if we need to
  • Confirm the payment method. Cash and Credit Cards: 
  • If for any reason the operator feels the order is not genuine they can flag it as Verification Required” with a note to the Shift Leader to call the customer back.  • The stores have also been advised in previous communication that for any delivery order worth more than Rs 5000. Especially if cash – to call the customers to verify before making the order.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a voucher code. How can I use it?

If you have a voucher code, you can redeem it after selecting a dish and adding products to the food cart. You will see a field to enter your voucher code on the page that shows an overview of your order.
If a voucher is valid, the discount on your order will be calculated immediately.
Only one voucher can be used per order. If your voucher code does not work, feel free to contact us and we will sort this out.

How do I cancel or change my order?

That way, we can let the Shift Leader know before they start making your order.
With regards to any refund of a payment you have made online, please contact through WhatsApp and not the store.

How long does it take for my order to get delivered?

The goal of Memon Food Online is to have all of our orders leave our stores within 10 minutes and reach the customer within 40 minutes. The dispatcher dispatches the order within an average of 15 minutes from the time the call comes in:

• Average cook time –   5 minutes.
• Average makes time – 3 minutes.
• Average packing and dispatch time – 2 minutes. 

A Home Service chart has been posted in every store is updated on a daily basis to measure the percentage of orders we have delivered to the customer’s door in less than 50 minutes. If it’s been too long, you can contact us and we will find out what’s going on immediately.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs just like delivery time are determined by each individual Chef or Restaurant. Usually the ones closer to you will charge a small delivery fee. If a delivery rider has to drive a long way to bring you the food, they can charge a little extra for the service. There are also many chefs, restaurants with a free delivery. You can easily check the delivery costs of each store while browsing our website.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept Cash, Credit Cards on delivery. In addition, there are various online payment methods available.

Cash on Delivery

Select ‘Cash on Delivery’ on the checkout page and pay the driver at your doorstep when receiving food.

Credit Card on Delivery

Select ‘Online Payment’ on the checkout page. After placing your order you will be redirected to the secure page of our payment partner, where you can follow its instructions. Once the payment is confirmed, the order will be transmitted to the store.

Why is ordering online better than ordering by phone?

Online ordering at Memon Food provides several advantages over telephone based ordering.

4. Pay as you like: If you order at Memon Food, you are not limited to paying by cash on delivery. You can easily and safely pay online using your credit card.

5. You can view details of all your past orders and easily re-order.

Can I place an order worth Rs.5000 or above?

Yes, you can. But all orders made for Rs.5000 or above will require advance payment. After you place an order, a delivery rider will promptly be sent to you for collection of cash.

What are your opening hours?

Memon Food Online Delivery timing is 10 am to 12 pm from Monday to Sunday.

We can only providing our delivery services in certain area’s depends on each individual chef, restaurant and Memon Food has no influence on this. If you can ask and enter a specific address through our Live Chat or WhatsApp, then we can advice you for availability of our food delivery service.

How can I create an account at Memon Food Online?

Simply enter your name, address, email and contact number and click the ‘Register’ button. You can also create an account directly after placing an order. Your delivery address and the order will be then saved in your account.
